Katie Archibald and Wonderful Britains Laura Kenny promised silver in the madison of the women over the final afternoon of the European Track Championships.
The pair finished on 31 points – two supporting Julie Leth along with winners Amalie Dideriksen of Denmark.
From the mens madison, Matt Walls and Ollie Wood finished eighth.
Terrific Britain won nine awards in Apeldoorn, with 2 golds, four silvers and three bronze awards, in the Netherlands.
Im exhausted – we place everything into this, said Archibald after the womens madison.
I have things to work on personally and weve got ways we can improve as a team, so while I wish wed scored those two points for goldI feel optimistic about future races.
England amazed in their win over Australia, but face the test of holders New Zealand to get a place in the World Cup closing.
