NASCAR at Texas: Odds, prediction, sleepers, drivers to watch for O’Reilly Auto Parts 500

Since the Cup Series heads to Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500, NASCAR gets back to intermediate racing this weekend.

There is a couple of things to keep track of coming into this weekend. For one, Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski are tied to the most wins this season with two and will be looking to add to that total on Sunday in a track where they have had success before. But second, the past doesn’t mean that much when handicapping this race.
Texas Motor Speedway experienced a repave prior to the 2017 year, so much of the prior success of motorists has gone out the window. So, while Busch has three career wins in the 1.44-mile track, it’s hard to say that assists him out considerably because two came before 2017 and three of his past four races there have led to finishes outside the top 10.
But Busch continues to be fantastic of late as has Keselowski, and while those two motorists need to be the initial two motorists to observe, Kevin Harvick may be in line to get his first win of this year.
Harvick has finished of his four races and has won two of those four because the repave at Texas. Busch can keep him from that, as can the remainder of our drivers down the page, although He’s our choice to win this weekend.
The O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 could be viewed Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on FOX.
