Dale Earnhardt Jr. still has sore back but plans on racing at Darlington

(CNN) — Dale Earnhardt Jr. is only largely retired, therefore he doesnt plan to miss out driving at one of his favourite tracks when NASCAR goes to Darlington Raceway in South Carolina next weekend.
Earnhardt, who had been a week together with his spouse his wife and two pilots, also said hes still hurting from the wreck but plans to take the wheel of an auto in the Xfinity Series on August 31.
My lower back is bruised up real bad. Lots of swelling and that I just want this to go down and the pain to chill outside, he also tweeted. Ive been treating the region daily solely to get nicely to race
Earnhardt retired from fulltime racing but hes raced after since then — past year in an Xfinity race in Richmond. Earnhardt is also a television analyst for NBC and also a team owner.
On Monday, near where his plane crashed following a landing, after skipping the races in Bristol, Tennessee, Earnhardt thanked hospital workers, emergency responders and his pilots.
Were truly blessed that on board escaped without any serious injuries, such as our daughter, both pilots as well as our pet Gus, Earnhardt added.
Racing fans are looking forward to the one on-track look this season of Earnhardt. He holds the record for winning the most popular driver award of the circuit 15 years in a row.
