Thomas Tuchel unsure if Mauro Icardi will start for depleted PSG against Real Madrid

Paris Saint-Germain head trainer Thomas Tuchel is unsure if Mauro Icardi is healthy enough to start in Wednesday’s Champions League clash.
Has been ruled out while Brazilian Neymar remains suspended, hurt along with France forward Kylian Mbappe.
Icardi, who combined PSG on a season-long loan from Inter Milan earlier this month, he might start up front but Tuchel is unsure about his condition since the Argentine only played half an hour up to now this year, coming on as a substitute in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Strasbourg.
“I really don’t know exactly how fit he is,” Tuchel said. “I don’t know how long that he can play, maybe he should begin or possibly Eric Choupo-Moting can start. Everybody understands we overlook out a few strikers but I hope the players that I need for this match ”
The champions go back by Manchester United in the round of 16 last season to the platform for the very first time because their removal.
Tuchel was eager to play down the significance of the visit of 13-time European champions Real.
“This match will not decide everything. I need people to play our match, harshly and play to win,” Tuchel said.
“We have put last year behind us and we’re looking ahead. We have made adjustments, you will find new players and we’ve gained expertise.”
Club Brugge host Galatasaray from the other Group A match on Wednesday.
