The quartet of Falcons jumped OTAs, but all had been expected to report for minicamp. Monday’s news confirms they will really be on the field this week.
Just how much the Joneses will do on the area is another matter. Falacons coach Dan Quinn told The Atlanta since they cure foot injuries that both Julio and Deion Jones won’t take part in drills this week.
Atlanta brass expressed optimism which deal scenarios for the flock of Falcons will get dealt with at any point.
The Falcons have until July 15 to hammer out a long-term deal with Jarrett. The defensive tackle already signed his franchise tender, meaning he’d have been subject to penalties if he skipped mandatory work (players not having signed their labels wouldn’t be subject to penalties ).
Deion Jones and beasley either enter the final seasons of the rookie contracts.
Julio Jones has two years left on his deal, however, the team is working toward a new contract that would re-align his cover using the cap of the receiver market (now 11 wideouts earn more per year compared to Jones).
